Hold Fast is a nautical-themed bar located in the heart of Manchester, part of Selina Manchester. Inspired by the adventures in Jules Verne’s tales, such as Around the World in 80 Days and Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, the visual identity was designed to transport visitors into an immersive space full of maritime references.
The design concept fully embraces the bar’s nautical theme, blending a vintage aesthetic with a bold, modern twist. The visual elements were inspired by submarine sonar screens and grids that represent surface scanning. These graphic elements, combined with a flexible grid-based layout, allow for a harmonious and adaptable arrangement of information.
The color palette consists of bold shades of red, black, and gray, creating a striking and cohesive look. This careful balance of vibrant tones and visual elements creates a visual identity that is both timeless and contemporary, perfectly capturing the adventurous and immersive spirit of Hold Fast.

O Hold Fast é um bar com temática náutica localizado no coração de Manchester, parte do Selina Manchester. Inspirado nas aventuras dos contos de Júlio Verne, como A Volta ao Mundo em 80 Dias e Vinte Mil Léguas Submarinas, a identidade visual foi desenvolvida para transportar os visitantes a um ambiente imersivo e cheio de referências marítimas.
O conceito de design abraça completamente o tema náutico do bar, mesclando uma estética vintage com um toque moderno e ousado. Os elementos visuais foram inspirados nas telas de sonar de submarinos e em grids que representam o escaneamento de superfícies. Esses elementos gráficos, combinados com um layout flexível baseado em grid, permitem uma disposição harmoniosa e adaptável das informações.
A paleta de cores é composta por tons fortes de vermelho, preto e cinza, criando um visual marcante e coeso.
